me: today is national wine day!
cheeseshot: FUCK YES
cheeseshot: but let’s be honest, isn’t every day national wine day?
INDEED IT IS! Happy Holiday All! I may crack open one of my Napa bottles tonight…while I puppy-sit some little yellow labs, poolside. Best. Night. Ever.
Evan (le boy), who sometimes goes by the pseudonym DJ sEvAN, has entered a competition for a potential performance spot at Electric Daisy Carnival in Vegas in a few weeks.
This is his baller mix. He needs 100 listens by tonight in order to officially be entered in the competition.
So listen to it, like it, share it, and enjoy it, since it’s pretty sick.
The only wine I’ve had on this list is “Las Rocas Garnacha 2007” and it is verifiably delicious, so I’m looking forward to the other 15…

Love this highlighter yellow dress styled by Atlantic Pacific.
And we’ll just go ahead add this fabulous finderoo to the list of summer must-needs.
Joanne Stoker, Martini Citrus Heel.
While these $600 shoes are clearly not entering my wardrobe anytime soon, I think they would significantly enrich my summer life. Agreed?

Want. All. Of. This.
So one of my roommates had a Groupon to Ketchup, an Ashton Kutcher exclusive restaurant (so it MUST be good, right?), and so we decided to make a trip out to the National Harbor Sunday evening. Well, there’s a reason it only has two stars on Yelp. We decided to eat elsewhere beforehand, and once we got there just ordered the trio fry appetizer and drinks. The fries weren’t bad, but this place didn’t have much else going for it. The ketchup selection wasn’t even that impressive. And despite the fact that all we were doing was drinking, our drinks took about 20 minutes to land at the table.
In terms of ambiance: literally, you feel as though you are in a photography dark room, since the lighting is red, and they were switching off between 80’s retro music and John Mayer/Jason Mraz. Confusion ensues.
Kutcher, you need to stop this whole restaurant-owning, excessive commercial-doing, Two and a Half Men-starring, Demi Moore-fraternizing nonsense, and stick to your more appropriate “Just Married” roles. When I was younger, I actually used to be obsessed with you (to the point of a FAN LETTER…true story), but that obsession has fizzled and died. Get it together.
(We’ll see how this Steve Jobs role proceeds.)
After finishing Clockwork Prince yesterday, (the sequel to Clockwork Angel), I am finally getting to this book! Here’s to hoping it’s as good as it’s cracked up to be…
P.S. I am loving these Clockwork books by Cassandra Clare, and the third one, Clockwork Princess, comes out in March of next year.
